Barnstable County Americorps Cape Cod FireCorps

The FireCorps is comprised of six AmeriCorps Cape Cod members who serve directly with the Cape Cod National Seashore. Members train in basic Wildland Firefighting and chainsaw operations. NorthWoods Field Coordinator

The NorthWoods Field Coordinator will work with local, state, and federal partners to develop and implement priority resource conservation projects in northern Vermont and select National Wildlife Refuge units throughout the region. The coordinator will provide training, supervision, and logistical support to NorthWoods Conservation Corps crews. Crews will complete a variety of wildlife management practices; trail construction, maintenance, and restoration work; and conservation service projects.
